Welcome to the original 1915 farmhouse of Mitchell Manor, a one of a kind urban homestead on a 0.20 acre lot in the heart of Boise. If you have dreamed of growing your own food and gathering fresh eggs each morning without leaving the city, this is the place. No HOA and a fully fenced yard give you privacy and freedom to make it your own. Outside is where this home shines. Gardeners will love the space to grow: eleven beds, including a brick edged bed by the front entry, another along the back of the home, and raised beds along the fence by the driveway. Add apple, pear, and cherry trees, raspberries, blackberries, and grapevines over a lit walkway. Lavender, lilacs, and herbs return year after year. Two chicken coops are in place, and the flock of eleven quiet hens, no roosters, can stay for fresh eggs from day one. The shed stays, with room for trailer or RV parking. Inside, the remodeled kitchen has butcher block counters, added cabinetry, a new dishwasher, and a single bowl sink with water filtration. The repaired wood burning fireplace keeps the home cozy. The primary bedroom is freshly updated, with new flooring and lighting in its attached bath. Four bedrooms and two full baths, or an office and bonus room upstairs, give everyone space to spread out. Washer, dryer, and refrigerator included. An older well on the property is out of order; ask for details.
